Peppty community safety notice

Effective date: April 28, 2026

Last reviewed: April 28, 2026

Peppty Technologies builds chat products where safety controls must be easy to find and serious abuse must be handled quickly. This page gives parents, reviewers, journalists, partners, and users a public summary of how to find the product safety surfaces for Chathub and ChatRamen.

1. Immediate Danger

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. Peppty product reporting tools help our teams review product abuse, but they are not a substitute for emergency help.

In the United States, suspected child sexual exploitation can also be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. NCMEC also lists a 24-hour call center at 1-800-THE-LOST.

2. Safety Principles

  • Report, block, and mute tools must be visible inside product experiences.
  • Moderation, abuse review, and product enforcement should reduce harm without hiding important user controls.
  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation are prohibited, escalated, and handled under applicable law.
  • Peppty.com remains a static corporate site; product account and report workflows live inside the products.

3. Product Safety Surfaces

Peppty.com is the corporate website. It links to the safety information and product surfaces, but it does not host product accounts, chat content, reports, or moderation queues.

4. Child Safety and Age Expectations

Chathub and ChatRamen are not intended for children under 13. Product-specific store listings, in-app gates, and regional rules may set a higher minimum age. Anyone who does not meet the applicable age requirement must not use the product.

Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking of minors, and attempts to exploit or endanger children are prohibited. When Peppty obtains actual knowledge of confirmed child sexual abuse material or legally reportable child-safety conduct, we take action under our product standards and applicable law, including escalation to NCMEC or an appropriate regional authority where required.

5. Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation

Product reports should be made inside the app whenever possible because in-app reporting carries product context that a corporate email may not include. Chathub and ChatRamen product surfaces include reporting, blocking, and safety education flows for conversations or profiles that feel unsafe.

  • Report: use the product report affordance for offensive content, harassment, child safety concerns, spam, threats, or other abuse.
  • Block: use block controls to stop unwanted contact where the product supports it.
  • Escalate: for corporate, platform-review, press, or parent concerns, email safety@peppty.com.

6. Platform Standards

Apple's App Review Guidelines require user-generated-content and social-networking apps to provide filtering, report mechanisms, blocking, and published contact information. Google Play's child-safety standards for social and dating apps require public child-safety standards, in-app reporting, CSAM action, legal compliance, and a child-safety point of contact.

Peppty treats those standards as a floor, not the ceiling. The product teams should keep in-app safety surfaces current as platform policy changes.
